Exam Tip: Classification Strategy
On the real exam, start with the General Rules of Interpretation (GRI). First identify the chapter by material or function, then narrow down to the heading. Remember: GRI 1 says classification is determined by the terms of the headings and section/chapter notes first.
Live horses, asses, mules and hinnies
Chapter 1 covers live animals. Heading 0101 specifically covers equine animals.

Covers pigs and hogs.

Covers both sheep and goats.
